About the Internship
As our Junior Odoo Developer Intern, you won\’t just be reviewing sample code—you’ll be right in the middle of live development projects! You will work closely with our engineering team to build, extend, and optimize custom Odoo modules and backend enterprise workflows across Python, PostgreSQL, XML/QWeb views, and RESTful APIs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Custom Odoo Module Development: Develop, extend, and customize Odoo Community modules using Python and Odoo ORM. Design custom database models, security rules, and XML views (form layouts, kanban boards, tree views).
- Business Workflow & Module Customization: Translate operational requirements into functional Odoo workflows across core modules (CRM, Sales, Invoicing, Inventory, Purchase, HR) and customize QWeb PDF report templates.
- API Integrations & Webhooks: Build and test custom REST APIs and Webhook endpoints connecting Odoo with external platforms using tools like Postman.
- Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Basics: Gain exposure to Ubuntu/Debian Linux servers, Nginx reverse proxy setups, PostgreSQL database maintenance, and Git version control workflows.
- Testing & Debugging: Participate in prototype testing, debugging backend issues, and documenting system configurations.

- Currently studying (or recently graduated in) Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, MIS, or related technical field.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Python, OOP principles, relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL), and basic web tech (HTML, XML, CSS, JS).
- Analytical problem-solver who enjoys breaking down complex business rules into logical code.
